The Whole Enchilada – $3000

This package is essentially a month’s worth of my attention to your marketing and communications efforts, complete with measurable results. We start with my super ultra top secret patent pending Interview, which I have developed and refined over the last 10 years. With the information gathered during that process, I write your story, develop your message, and establish an initial beachhead for that message within your customers’ community. You and I will work as a team throughout the month to ensure your existing customers are on board with the message, ensure the message is being seen by your potential customers, and define a clear path forward for you to continue with your marketing efforts.

During this process I will provide you with documentation, training, and a deep understanding of the tools you use to reach and measure your audience. The Whole Enchilada is deeply personalized and customized to fit you and your specific business.

The Reinvigorator – $750

Running your own business is a lot of work, and at times we can get bogged down in the everyday minutiae of doing business… we lose sight of why we became entrepreneurs, and wonder if going back to the old 9-to-5 would be a better idea.

The Reinvigorator is the answer to every small business person’s inevitable bouts with doubt and general malaise. The Reinvigorator gets you out of the rut of running your business, and reconnects you with the passion you once felt.

Through this process I will help you plug in to that passionate vein again, find your groove, and remember why you love to do what you do. Ghost Writer – $300/month

(discounts available for long-term contracts)

We all know that a stagnant web site rapidly dwindles, falls rapidly in search engine rankings, and this dereliction of duty nags at the back of your mind constantly, preventing you from focusing fully on the work at hand. The fact is you need to update your site and keep providing it with fresh content. But what if you aren’t a great writer? What if your business is booming right now and you don’t have the time? What if you want to go on vacation for a few weeks?

That’s where I come in as your Ghost Writer. You and I will sit down and have a heart-to-heart about what you want to see on your site. We will review your existing content, and map out a timeline and outline for new content.

Then I will write 5 articles a month for you, according to the parameters you have stated, with the voice you want. As a professional writer I can exactly mimic your style/tone, or I can modify it in any way you desire. As a techie geek, I am also capable of providing a complete concept-to-published service, and post the articles to your site completely formatted and illustrated with appropriate images.

Technical topics, emotional topics, current event topics… whatever you need, I can write it, and free you up to continue building your business.

Writer/Ghost Writer – $115/article

Sometimes all we need is a different perspective. Or the muse simply isn’t responding to your calls this week. For whatever the reason, I can write compelling articles (under 1,000 words) for your site quickly and efficiently.

I can write under my own name and style, or in the style of your choosing, and my turnaround time can be as few as 2 days. In a bind? Toss the ball to me, and I’ll knock this one outta the park for ya.

Your Muse – $100

Sometimes when everything is possible, nothing gets done. Are you stumped? Not sure what to write next? Has your conceptual well run dry?

Let me fill it up for you! I provide an inspiring – and appropriate-to-your-business – list of 20 articles (titles and summaries), and a posting timeline to help you get back on track. With these fresh ideas and a calendar for when to research/write/post each article, your web site will have plenty of content for the next quarter.

Editor, Copy Editor, Copy Writer – $(variable)

For those who are interested in improving their writing, sometimes all you need is a guiding hand to help you massage your concepts and words into compelling stories.

My experience as an Editor and my frequent work with aspiring writers can be brought to bear on your writing, too.

As your Editor/Copy Editor/Writer, I will go through your existing content (articles, blog posts, flyers, web site content, etc), and massage it into something great. A key part of this process is me teaching you to fish. So I won’t just take the red pen and mark up your writing, I will also explain how it needs to change, and why. My interest is in making sure you see a huge improvement in your words, and you understand where the improvement came from so you can do it again.

Voice Talent – $100/hr (Minimum 2 hours, negotiable)

For decades people have told me that I should use my voice for radio, advertising, character acting, narration, etc. So I finally did something about it and got trained on the art and the industry. I can now provide a wide variety of voice acting to fit your needs. I also have the equipment to record at home, if needed.

Business Class Instructor – $Prices vary depending on class size, audience, etc.

I have developed a series of classes to help businesspeople find their voice and express themselves. Whether it is developing an engaging “Elevator Pitch” or developing your entire “Business Storytelling” skill set, my classes can help you (or your organization, networking group, etc) become fluent and adept at telling a compelling story. In the era of social media, there is no more powerful way to engage people with your business than by grabbing their attention with a well-told story.

These two-hour classes are quick, collaborative, and fun. Your people will come away from any of these classes with renewed vigor!
